VERNON, CT — A Paterson, NJ man was charged with exceeding 110 mph in a sport utility vehicle near Exit 64 on the westbound side of Interstate-84 at 12:21 a.m., according to an arrest report. Railen Perez-Delacruz, 22, was charged with reckless driving, a lane violation, improper parking and failure to stop on the right, according to an arrest report. It was a foggy, wet night, state police said.
MANSFIELD, CT — Melissa Shortell, 44, was charged with the misuse of the 911 system, disorderly conduct and criminal lockout after a disturbance on Storrs Road, according to an arrest report. The incident took place at 6:41 p.m., according to an arrest report.

SOMERS, CT — A Somers man was charged with threatening and breach of peace after a 745 p.m. incident Johnson Memorial Hospital. State police were called to Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford for an active disturbance, according to an arrest report. Anthony Mears, 26, of Somers, had been a patient there but refused to leave after being discharged, according to an arrest report. He was causing a ruckus and threatening hospital staff members in the front lobby, according to an arrest report.
ELLINGTON, CT — Timothy Jackson, 29, of Ward Street, Vernon, was charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace following an altercation in a Main Street parking lot, according to an arrest report. State police aid it was a domestic violence incident and the victim sustained minor injuries.
