Vernon Bicyclist Injured in Crash with Car in Ellington
Andrew Welch, 57, taken to hospital for treatment.
A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car Sunday afternoon in Ellington.
The Hartford Courant reports that Andrew Welch, 57, of Vernon, collided with a car driven by Ellington’s Dylan James Slater, who was making a U-turn on Mountain Street at the time.
Welch was wearing a helmet and the extent of his injuries was not reported.
