Visions For Vacancies: What Business Should Go Here?

We want your opinion about the best use for this Ellington commercial space.

Editor’s note: We published this story earlier in the week, but here it is again in case you missed it.

Periodically, Ellington-Somers Patch will highlight a vacant commercial property and ask you to tell us what you think would be the best use for it.

Forget what zone it’s in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. If you had your way, what would you like to see there? What would be the best use for the community?

Today we are featuring space available in the Meadowview Plaza at 175 West Road (Route 83) in Ellington. Located toward the northern end of the plaza adjacent to Hometown Pizza, this spot was last occupied by Crystal Lake Counseling Services.

Other current tenants of the plaza include First Niagara Bank, Subway, Allstate and ECHN.
