Weather Changes Ellington and Somers School Schedules

SOMERS/ELLINGTON, CT — Citing the threat of the weather turning worse, public school students in Ellington and Somers are being dismissed early on Friday, school officials said.

In Ellington, that means 11:05 a.m. for the high school, 11:12 for the middle school and noon for elementary schools. Somers is following the normal early dismissal schedule.

After-school activities have been called off.
