Wildlife Rehab Founder To Speak At Somers Women’s Club Gathering
Guests and prospective members are invited to the Thursday afternoon meeting at Somers Congregational Church.
SOMERS, CT — The Somers Women’s Club is inviting guests and prospective members to its next meeting Thursday, when attendees will hear from the founder of a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation center focused on birds of prey.
The meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. April 2 in the Foundation Room at Somers Congregational Church, 599 Main St., according to the club.
Guest speaker Mary-Beth Kaeser, founder of Horizon Wings in Ashford, will give a presentation during the event. The nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation center specializes in birds of prey and also uses some non-releasable raptors for educational programs.
