Willington Dog Investigation Leads To FTA Charge
A man was first investigated in a dog case but was then arrested for skipping court, state police said.

WILLINGTON, CT — An investigation about a dog turned out to open another case entirely for state police on Thursday, a report indicates.
At 7 p.m. on Thursday, state police were assisting the Willington Animal Control Division with a possible animal cruelty incident at Willington Veterinary Hospital, a report indicates.
The dog's owner, identified as 23-year-old Christian Guerrero, of Willington, was not charged in that investigation, but state police did discover an active warrant issued for his atrrest for skipping a court date, according to a report.

He was supposed to be in court on Aug. 6 to answer third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree brwach of peace charges in a case out of Willimantic, according to a warrant.
He was to appear in court Friday, state police said.
