The incident was the day after Thanksgiving, state police said.

STAFFORD, CT — An East Windsor woman is facing a pair of charges for going after emergency room staffers at Johnson Memorial Hospital the day after Thanksgiving, state police said.

Nicole Woods, 46, was to appear in Rockville Superior Court in Monday to answer charges that include breach of peace and assaulting emergency personnel, state police said.

Woods was being restrained when troopers arrived at the hospital at 6:39 p.m. on Nov. 25, according to an arrest report.

Police were told that Woods was being discharged, but became "combative" with nurses and technicians. As state police were taking her into custody, she continued to be verbally abusive toward hospital staffers and tried to assault staffers, an arrest report indicates.

She was arrested and held in a $20,000 bond over the weekend.
