Woman Assaults Woman in Ellington: Warrant

A woman assaulted another woman in Ellington, state police said.

ELLINGTON, CT — A New Britain woman is facing three criminal charges for a violent domestic incident in Ellington.

Arielle Zaczyk, 28, was charged this week with second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and threatening, according to an arrest report.

The incident was on Nov. 11 at a Pinney Street residence, according to an arrest report.

After assaulting a 27-year-old former girlfriend, Zaczyk locked herself in a bathroom and tried to overdose on heroin, according to a warrant.

State police then intervened after the woman called 911, according to a warrant.
