2 Enfield Liquor Outlets Hit With Fines, Permit Suspensions

ENFIELD, CT — A pair of liquor retailers in Enfield have recently been served with fines and permit suspensions by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Liquor Control Commission.

Stop & Save Food Mart at 583 Enfield Street has paid a fine of $1,500 and had its liquor permit suspended for five days, from Jan. 3 through 7, for violating state statutes on the sale of alcohol to a minor.

Galaxy Liquor Store at 247 Hazard Avenue paid a fine of $2,450 and will have its liquor license suspended on Jan. 10, after being found in violation of selling alcohol to a minor and statement from purchaser as to age statutes.
