25 Years: Enfield To Remember 9/11 At Memorial Tribute Garden
Friday, Sept. 11, marks the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.
ENFIELD, CT — Enfield residents will gather Friday evening to remember the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Enfield Fire District 1 will hold a memorial service at 5:30 p.m. at the town’s 9/11 Memorial Tribute Garden, 199 Weymouth Road, according to an announcement from state Rep. John Santanella.
Friday marks 25 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and United Airlines Flight 93. The attacks killed 2,977 people.
