• DCF: Enfield 12-Year-Old Eve Rogers Was Subject Of Prior Report (patch.com) — Enfield residents are learning that state child welfare officials were already investigating a report about 12-year-old Eve Rogers leaving home before she was found dead at her Elm Street residence on March 18. Her stepfather, an Enfield school bus driver who has since been fired, faces serious sexual assault and risk of injury charges as police and DCF continue a joint investigation into her death and alleged abuse.
