While taking place in Enfield, multiple towns are invited to attend. The Kiwanis Club of Greater Enfield serves Enfield, Somers, Suffield, East Windsor, and Ellington.

Organizers said the event will feature interactive stations focused on bike safety and riding techniques, including obstacle courses, helmet fittings and safety training exercises.

Children will also be able to participate in bike decorating and bike washing activities.

A raffle for free bicycles and helmets is also planned.

The bicycles were donated by the Enfield Rotary Club.

Volunteers from the Enfield Police and Fire departments are expected to assist during the event.

The courses are designed for children ages 5 to 13, though younger and older children are also welcome to participate.

Organizers ask that children bring their own bike and helmet.

The organization is part of Kiwanis International, which supports programs focused on children’s health and welfare.
