Enfield Man Convicted In Town Green Killing

ENFIELD, CT — An Enfield man has been found guilty in a 2022 killing at the Town Green gazebo.

John Narducci, 57, of Enfield, was convicted Wednesday of murder in Hartford Superior Court, according to Hartford Judicial District State’s Attorney Sharmese L. Walcott.

The verdict came nearly four years after Christopher Kennedy, 55, was found dead at the Enfield Town Green gazebo.

Police responded to a 911 call on Aug. 10, 2022, and found Kennedy dead with multiple stab wounds, prosecutors said.

At trial, prosecutors said witnesses reported seeing Narducci in the area the evening of the killing. Surveillance footage also showed him riding his bike near the scene throughout the day, according to the Division of Criminal Justice.

Prosecutors said the blade of a knife recovered from Narducci contained Kennedy’s DNA.

The case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant State’s Attorneys Danielle O’Connell and Stacey Cox, with assistance from Inspectors Robert Nesci and Carlos Ocasio and Paralegal Specialist Kelly Randall.

Judge Joseph B. Schwartz presided over the trial.

Walcott thanked the trial team and the Enfield Police Department for their work on the case. She also expressed condolences to Kennedy’s family and said she hoped the verdict brings them “a small amount of solace.”

Narducci is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 1 in Hartford Superior Court.
