ENFIELD, CT — A new system is now in place at the Enfield Senior Center.
The center said its previous software system, MySeniorCenter, was officially discontinued Friday, May 29. Beginning Monday, June 1, the Senior Center began transitioning to MyRec.
Accounts from MySeniorCenter cannot be transferred into MyRec, according to the center. Members who have not created a MyRec account can do so online using a computer, tablet or smartphone, or they can visit the Senior Center and complete an account form so staff can create one for them.
The center said MyRec programs and online registration are not yet live. Staff said an email blast and updates on Facebook and Instagram will be sent once MyRec is fully active and online registration becomes available.
Members visiting the Senior Center for anything other than the gym should continue scanning in at one of the entrance kiosks. The process will be similar, but there will no longer be a touch screen.
Members should scan their membership card at the kiosk. If the doorbell rings, they are all set, while a scanner beep means they should visit the front desk to be updated.
Prime Fitness gym members will need to scan their cards when entering the gym for payment and attendance purposes. The center said gym members should not scan in at the front lobby kiosk for gym visits.
Members with questions or those who need help can contact Senior Center staff or stop by the front desk.
