ENFIELD, CT — Enfield residents will have a chance Thursday to tour the Annex/Fermi community center and share feedback about the building’s future.

The first Community Input and Engagement Session is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Enfield Municipal Annex, 124 North Maple Street.

Attendees are asked to meet in the Fermi lobby and use the Recreation Department entrance, according to event information shared by town officials and the Save Fermi group.

Town staff are holding three community sessions to collect input and better understand residents’ needs. Thursday’s session will include a walk-through of the building’s rooms and information about how the community center is currently serving Enfield.

Save Fermi encouraged residents to attend, saying many people may not have visited the building recently or may not know how it is being used.

“Please come to Enfield Economic & Community Development's first Community Input and Engagement Session,” the group wrote in a social media post. “Take a tour of the building's rooms and learn more about our community center.”

Additional sessions are scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. to noon, and another date in September, which has not yet been announced.
