A Broader Look At Santanella And Tyler's Political Giving (patch.com) — Enfield voters are getting a detailed look at the political giving histories of Democratic primary rivals John Santanella and Thomas Tyler ahead of the Sept. 1 special primary. Records show Tyler has recently directed large donations to the Enfield Republican Town Committee after years of Democratic support, while Santanella's contributions have gone consistently to Democratic causes, even as both campaigns highlight education, affordability and local Enfield priorities.
   

2. Enfield Motorcycle Club Search Tied To Explosive Attacks (patch.com) — Enfield residents recently saw Moody Road shut down as police searched the Red Devils Motorcycle Club clubhouse in connection with two explosive attacks at an Andover home. An Enfield detective helped link a car at the clubhouse to the incidents, and a Torrington man now faces arson and breach of peace charges while remaining presumed innocent.
   

3. Local Event: No Cover Cafe Concert Series, Sept 11, 2026 (patch.com) — Enfield music fans can catch the No Cover Café concert series kickoff on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026 at 7 p.m. at The Zone in Hazardville United Methodist Church on Hazard Avenue. The nonprofit series, hosted by Enfield resident Paul Cappa, features indie-folk duo Belle of the Fall, singer-songwriter Robi Polgar, and emerging artist Gary Turrel, with all door donations going directly to performers.
   

4. South Windsor high school football preview 2026 (ncadvertiser.com) — South Windsor's 2026 football preview includes a notable Thanksgiving-eve matchup at Enfield on Nov. 25 at 6 p.m. The Bobcats return star running back Jalil Montgomery and several key seniors as they move up to Class LL, facing a tough slate that also features Staples, Berlin, Masuk, and Maloney.
