Vehicle Crashes Into Enfield Building

ENFIELD, CT — Police and fire crews responded to 17 Cottage Green around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday after a vehicle crashed into a building.

The impact left a large hole in the building's brickwork, Enfield Police Chief Alaric Fox said. No one was injured.

Fox described the crash as an accident on private property. The fire and building departments went to the scene, and the building was secured.

It was not immediately clear what caused the crash or whether the damage will affect use of the building.
