ENFIELD, CT — Odin's Keep Axe House will close permanently Sunday, Oct. 18, ending a seven-year run in Enfield.
The business at 630 Enfield St. announced the closing in a Facebook post thanking customers, employees and others who supported it.
"This decision has not been an easy one, as this business has been so much more than a place of work," the announcement said.
Odin's Keep said it will remain open during its final week for customers who want to visit before the closing.
"For anyone looking for one last throw we will be open this final week," the business wrote.

The closing announcement did not give a reason for the decision.
Much of the farewell focused on the people who helped keep the business going over the past seven years.
"Your trust, loyalty, kindness, and encouragement have meant more to us than words can express," the post said. "You have been an important part of our story, and we are truly grateful to have been part of yours."
