Bad Forecast Prompts Postponement of Basketball and Hockey Games

Enfield boys basketball and the Fermi hockey co-op will now play Monday instead of Saturday.

The threat of inclement weather Saturday has caused a pair of scheduled games involving high school teams from Enfield to be moved to Monday.

The Enfield High School boys basketball game in the NCCC tournament, originally scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday in Avon, will now be a home game Monday at 7 p.m. against the winner of Friday's Suffield/Canton matchup.

The Fermi/Enfield/East Granby/Stafford hockey co-op game against Tri-Town, scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, has been shifted to Monday at 7:10 p.m. at the Enfield Twin Rinks. Senior Day festivities are scheduled to begin around 7 p.m., according to an email from the team's Booster Club.
