Body of Dead Woman Identified in Enfield: UPDATE
The body was discovered in a wooded area behind a public housing complex in Thompsonville.

ENFIELD, CT — The body of a deceased woman was found Friday morning in a wooded area in the Frenchtown section of Thompsonville.
The body was discovered behind Windsor Court, an elderly and public housing complex at the end of Windsor Street.
Police Chief Carl Sferrazza identified the woman as Pamela Cote, who had been reported missing a day prior..

He did not speculate as to the cause of death.
The Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad worked with Enfield police at the scene, Sferrazza said.

The body was removed just after 5 p.m. to the Medical Examiner's Office in Farmington. An autopsy will occur Saturday.
