On Friday, May 8, 2026 @ 7:00, The No Cover Café wraps up its second season with acts featuring women. Performers will include recording artists, Seat Of Our Pants, Still Rivers, and Terri Lachance on the Main Stage. The Emerging Artist stage will feature “R&D” during the intermission. This will be the last show before the summer break.
On The Main Stage
Affectionately known as SOOP, Seat Of Our Pants has ascended to the forefront of Connecticut's acoustic music scene with award-winning, heartfelt, and clever songs that put a smile on your face, a tear in your eye, and get you thinking about the world around you. They bring a unique mix of instruments, impeccable harmonies, rock-infused songwriting, and a contagiously fun experience to their ever-growing fan base around the state.
Still Rivers is a husband and wife duo consisting of Michael (Muddy) and Chandra Rivers. Their songs arrive wrapped in harmony, lived-in, and unpolished in the best possible way. When they sing lines like “this is our little life, good, bad, or ugly,” it feels less like a lyric and more like an open invitation. Listening to Still Rivers is like being welcomed into their living room for an unhurried afternoon—country-time lemonade on the table, a charcuterie board assembled from odds and ends, each with its own backstory. As your mind wanders, their songs gently weave your own memories into the framework they’ve built, reminding you—quietly, kindly—that you’re not alone.
Terri Lachance has been playing and writing songs since her early teen years. She’s travelled to places in the world most would never venture alone. Her lyrics are rooted in her life, experiences, and what she believes; every tune comes from her heart and soul. Terri is nonstop, gathers no moss, and always has a new song building up inside. As she has expressed in one of her songs, she has always landed “Two Feet on the Ground”. Terri has recorded 8 CD’s about life and how she perceives it.
On The Emerging Artist Stage
R&D, Richanne and Dimas, are a husband and wife who cover a wide range of music, including classic and modern rock.
