On Friday, October 9, 2026 @ 7:00, The No Cover Café features recording artists Cassandra Kubinski (Enfield native), Glenn Roth, and Ken McManus on the Main Stage. The Emerging Artist stage will feature Daniel Corthell during the intermission.
ON THE MAIN STAGE
Cassandra Kubinski is a singer-songwriter, voice actress, and Billboard-charting recording artist. Known for a piano-driven blend of pop, soul, and musical theatre influences, she has performed from living rooms to Barclays Center and toured the US, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Her songs have appeared on Lifetime's Dance Moms, ESPN's First Take, RuPaul's Drag Race, NBC promos, and over a dozen additional television placements. She has recorded and performed with the Goo Goo Dolls, Chris Botti, 10,000 Maniacs, Sawyer Fredericks, and Billy Joel. Billy Joel describes Cassandra as "a transcendent talent reminiscent of the late '70s greats."
Glenn Roth is not your typical Connecticut commuter; he carries a gig bag instead of a briefcase into his workspace: the vaulted splendor of Grand Central Terminal and the New York City subway system. As a licensed performer in the MTA’s "Music Under New York" program, he plays for the city's most distracted and demanding audience of rushing commuters. Glenn is a fingerstyle guitarist whose thumb rides the bassline while his other fingers weave driving melodies, creating the illusion of multiple instruments played by just one man. He has released six CD's and has over 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
Ken McManus is a Connecticut singer/songwriter. He fuses elements of rock, R&B, and jazz in his music into a sound best described as "Soul-Folk." Ken released his first CD, "Simple Dreams," in December of 2025. His most recent single, "Ghosts of Savannah," featuring The Last Rhino, is out now on all streaming platforms.
ON THE EMERGING ARTIST STAGE
Daniel Corthell is a schoolteacher, certified Yoga instructor, and budding musician. He is also a member of the “Wesley Crushers” worship band at the Hazardville United Methodist Church.
ABOUT THE NO COVER CAFE
The No Cover Café is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing a fun venue for local musicians to perform their original works. 100% of door donations are given to the performers.
Shows are at 7:00 PM on the 2nd Friday of the month between September and May at “The Zone” at the Hazardville United Methodist Church, 330 Hazard Ave, Enfield, CT.
Each show typically features three artists local to Connecticut and Western Mass. Artists are encouraged to discuss their songs, their process, and interact with the audience between sets. Enfield resident Paul Cappa hosts the shows.
