Friday, November 13, 2026 @ 7:00 is "Country Night" at The No Cover Café and will feature local recording artists Charlie Diamond (Enfield, CT), Dave Butler (Somers, CT), and Bekka Dowland (Westfield, MA) on the Main Stage. Fred Pomeroy will perform on the Emerging Artist Stage during the intermission.
On The Main Stage
Charlie Diamond is not just an artist; he is the personification of a free artist who has freed himself from circumstances and set out to follow his heart's desire. Charlie Diamond travels all over New England performing wherever he can, and only his dog, guitar, and harmonica are faithful companions.
The album 'A New Poet In Town' is designed to convey those life stories that happen every day on the artist's path. Love, friendship, the road, and thoughts are all so dear to Charlie Diamond that he decided to share a part of his treasure with us. His voice is strong and expressive; it comes from the very soul of the author, and the sounds of an acoustic guitar mixed with a folk rock ensemble reinforce the organic nature of his tracks, creating a chic image of free songs.
Dave Butler is a country singer-songwriter whose style bridges traditional country roots with a modern edge. Active since the 1990s, he made multiple trips to Nashville to record and hone his craft before stepping back to focus on family life. Since returning in 2020, David has been writing new songs and performing live, delivering an authentic and engaging country sound.
Bekka Dowland is a New England country-pop singer-songwriter whose music transforms real-life emotion into deeply relatable storytelling. Blending the narrative honesty of classic country with modern pop sensibilities, Dowland has built a sound rooted in vulnerability, resilience, heartbreak, healing, and self-discovery. Whether delivering emotionally raw ballads or sharp-tongued anthems filled with confidence and attitude, her songwriting consistently feels personal, human, and impossible to fake.
On The Emerging Artist Stage
Fred Pomeroy is one of many siblings in the musical Pomeroy family from East Windsor, CT. Fred loves covering deep cuts and lesser-known songs. He has a great country voice and plays his trusty guitars with a warm style.
