American International College, Springfield MA

• Nicholas Romei, of Enfield, received the Outstanding Achievement in Management Studies Award during American International College's Academic Awards ceremony this spring. The Outstanding Achievement in Management Studies Award is presented to the student who has demonstrated excellence in this content area. Romei, who majored in management, graduated in May.
• Sarah Pelletier, of Enfield, received the Outstanding Achievement in Nursing Award by a Junior during the American International College Academic Awards ceremony this spring. The Outstanding Achievement in Nursing Award by a Junior is presented to a student in the third year of study who achieves excellence in the field of nursing.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University congratulates over 300 students named to the spring 2019 President's List. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher. Honorees from Enfield are Maria Concha Sanchez, working toward a degree in Arts & Sciences; Nathaniel Hodgdon, working toward a BA in Economics; Brandon Rivera Cruz, working toward a BSBA in Accounting; and Michael Middleton, working toward a BSBA in Marketing.
• Western New England University congratulates more than 500 students named to the spring 2019 Dean's List. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
