Curtains Rise on 'Shrek The Musical Jr.' in Enfield

The JFK Middle School Drama Club will be presenting DreamWorks’ Shrek The Musical, Jr. on May 1 and 2.

More than 100 students are involved in some aspect of the production ranging from designing and painting set pieces and backdrops, working on the hair and make-up team, to being a member of the stage crew or a member of the cast.

Show are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday with a 1 p.m. matinee on Saturday. After the Saturday 1 p.m. show, there will be a character Meet and Greet in the JFK cafeteria. Audience members will have the opportunity to meet members of the cast, get autographs and take pictures.

Tickets are available at the door on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are $3 for students and seniors; $5 for adults. Children age 4 and under are free.
