Drug, Weapons Charges Brought Following Larceny In Enfield Supermarket
Three men from Massachusetts were taken into custody after narcotics, paraphernalia and weapons were found in their vehicle, police said.

ENFIELD, CT — A larceny call inside the Stop & Shop supermarket Monday afternoon led police to a vehicle in the parking loaded with weapons and narcotics, and the arrests of three men from Massachusetts.
Around 3:18 p.m., police were called to the Hazard Avenue store by loss prevention personnel, who were detaining a larceny suspect. After interviewing the man, officers located a related vehicle occupied by two men in the parking lot. A search of the vehicle yielded numerous knives, a facsimile handgun, narcotics and drug paraphernalia, according to police.
Edward Drost, 53, of Chicopee and Jonathan Brown, 42, of West Springfield were each charged with possession of a controlled substance, use of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle. Their bonds were set at $15,000 and $10,000, respectively.

Keith Callahan, 41, of Warren was charged with fifth-degree larceny. His bond was set at $5,000.
