Election Candidates Endorsed By Enfield Republican Town Committee
Two incumbent Republican members of the Board of Education opted not to seek re-election this fall.

ENFIELD, CT — The Republican side of the ballot in the upcoming municipal elections will look quite familiar, as a majority of incumbents have been endorsed for another term, as well as some former elected officials running once again.
A slate of candidates was unanimously endorsed by the Enfield Republican Town Committee at a caucus Tuesday in town hall.
Incumbent District 1 town councilor Ken Nelson seeks to retain his seat, and current at-large councilor Doug Finger is running for the District 3 seat. Former District 2 councilor Kelly Hemmeler, the party chair, looks to regain that seat, while Bob Hendrickson will challenge for the nod in District 4.

At-large councilors Mike Ludwick, Marie Pyznar and Lori Unghire all seek re-election, and will be joined on the ballot by newcomer Jim Nasuta.
Board of Education members Jonathan LeBlanc and John Unghire have opted to not run for re-election. Incumbents Jean Acree and Janet Cushman are running again, joined by former school board members Peter Jonaitis and Charlotte Riley and newcomer Philip Kober.

Candidates for constable are Maria Diana, Dean Gousse, Walter Kruzel and Joseph Muller.
Election Day is Nov. 7.
