Enfield Chiropractor Accused of Improper Sexual Relationship with Patient
He has been charged by the Department of Public Health with carrying on an inappropriate sexual relationship with a female patient.
ENFIELD, CT — A longtime chiropractor is facing a hearing with the state Department of Public Health after accusations were filed accusing him of carrying on an inappropriate sexual relationship with a female patient.
Dr. Joseph Kalk, who practices at Emily Family Chiropractic on Route 190 in Hazardville, has been scheduled to appear at a hearing Nov. 17 to answer the charges, the Journal Inquirer reported.
In a complaint filed by a former patient of Kalk's, she alleges the two began a sexual affair in late 2014, sometimes engaging in sex within the office while patients were sitting in his waiting room, the JI said.
