Enfield Drivers Asked To Avoid Area During Scantic Spring Splash
Several roads and the Scantic Bridge will be closed for part of the day on Saturday.
ENFIELD, CT — Drivers in Enfield should expect temporary road closures Saturday for the Scantic Spring Splash 2026 event, according to the Enfield Police Department.
Police said South Maple Street and Powder Hill Road will be closed starting at 11 a.m. on March 28. The roads are expected to reopen by 2 p.m.
Police also said there will be no vehicle access over the Scantic Bridge during that time.

Only spectators and local residents will be allowed into the closed areas, police said. Anyone not attending the event is being asked to use alternate routes and plan ahead for possible delays.
