Enfield Election 2015 Results: 9 Candidates Elected to Board of Education
The new school board will face some difficult challenges over the next two years.
Seven incumbents and a pair of newcomers were elected to serve for the next two years on the Enfield Board of Education.
Republicans maintained a 5-4 majority on the school board, with sitting board members Tom Sirard, Ray Peabody and Lori Unghire being joined by former town councilor Michael Ludwick and businessman Walter Kruzel.
All four Democratic incumbents were re-elected to their seats: Vinny Grady, Tina LeBlanc, Tim Neville and Stacy Thurston.

Newcomer Elizabeth Windsor-Post fell short of election.
The board will take office with several highly-challenging assignments awaiting, particularly the consolidation of Enfield and Fermi high schools into the combined campus on Route 5 for the 2016-17 school year.
