Enfield Girls Fall to Lauralton Hall in Class M Tournament Shootout
Raiders rally to tie the score 3-3 in regulation time, but after a scoreless overtime, Lauralton Hall wins on penalty kicks to advance to the second round.

Lauralton Hall converted all of its penalty kicks to defeat Enfield 4-3 in the first round of the CIAC Class M girls soccer tournament Saturday at Foran High School in Milford.
Enfield twice came from a goal behind to tie the score and force overtime. Neither team scored during the extra session, necessitating the penalty kicks shootout.
The Raiders jumped to a 1-0 lead at halftime on a goal by Sam Dumas.

Lauralton Hall tied it in the second half on a score by Alyssa Fratarcangeli. The Crusaders then grabbed their first lead of the day on a goal by Sarah Haselkamp.
Sierra Trzepacz knotted the game at 2-2, but Fratarcangeli netted her second goal to push Lauralton Hall back in front, 3-2. Kaylee Polmatier then tied it again for the Raiders, forcing overtime.

Sydney Ballou had 12 saves for Enfield, while Emma Dunleay stopped seven shots for the Crusaders.
Lauralton Hall (9-2-5), the 13th seed, will face fourth-seeded Lewis Mills of Burlington Monday at 4 p.m.
Enfield, which was seeded 20th, ended its season with a 9-8 record.
