ELIZABETHTOWN, PA — Kyle Lumbert, a engineering major from Enfield, has been selected as a Resident Assistant at Elizabethtown College for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Lumbert graduated from Enfield High School in 2015.
Resident Assistants (RA) are essential student leaders within the Elizabethtown College community, responsible for a floor or living area within residence halls or apartments. RAs help with personal and academic concerns of students and help work out group conflicts that might arise. The RA also serves as a facilitator to encourage a cooperative and considerate group living environment.

RAs are expected to help build a feeling of togetherness and community by initiating and helping to organize floor, area and hall activities and programs.
An Elizabethtown College RA has an exemplary disciplinary record, maintains a semester and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, has outstanding leadership, team building, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills, and has a demonstrated commitment to fostering a multiculturally inclusive living-learning community.
