Enfield Legend Installed In National Field Hockey Coaches Hall Of Fame
Cookie Bromage is just the sixth Connecticut high school coach to be honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

LAKE MARY, FL — Friday the 13th proved to be anything but unlucky for an Enfield coaching legend, who added another national accolade to her impressive string of awards and honors.
Cookie Bromage, who founded the Enfield High School field hockey program in 1967 and remained at the helm for 52 years, was one of four women inducted last Friday into the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame in a lavish ceremony at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary Hotel.
A 6-minute video featuring photos and videos from her career, as well as comments from some former players and colleagues, served as the introduction of Bromage to a packed house of more than 300 guests. She then humbly thanked her athletes, fellow coaches and administrators for making her legendary career possible, before departing the stage to a standing ovation.
