According to a police report, police were summoned to Weymouth School Road around 11 p.m. for a reported active domestic disturbance. The female caller reported she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, Cecilio-Rivera, with whom she had lived for about a year until recently, Sferrazza said.
The woman told police she had returned to the house to gather her belongings when Cecilio-Rivera threw her against a wall, choked her, kicked her and would not let her leave the premises. She said he brandished a knife and threatened to stab her, then dragged her down the stairs and out of the house, Sferrazza said.
