Enfield Man Sentenced in Sexual Assault Case
The man received the minimum mandatory sentence for a second-degree assault conviction.

A 52-year-old Enfield man was sentenced last week to nine months in prison in a plea agreement in a sexual assault case.
Paul Virtue pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault in exchange in exchange for the dropping of risk of injury to a child and illegal sexual contact charges, the Journal Inquirer reported.
The nine-month sentence is mandatory under state law; Virtue will also be placed on two years’ probation following his release.

The incident took place nearly a year ago, and involved two females, ages 17 and 15 at the time, according to the arrest warrant.
