
Albert A. Kradas, 73, of Enfield, beloved husband of Barbara Jean (Earley) Kradas passed away unexpectedly at home Saturday, September 24, 2016.
Born July 21, 1942 in Hartford, son of the late Alben and Anne (Kracunas) Kradas, he grew up in Windsor and moved to Enfield in 1979. Albert served with the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam War. After serving his country he worked for Kaman Aircraft and then for Stanadyne before retiring. He enjoyed golfing, spending time at Point O Woods Beach for nearly 50 years, the UConn Huskies and the Dallas Cowboys, but most of all spending time with his family.
Besides Barbara, his wife of 53 years, he is survived by two sons, Timothy Kradas and his wife Christine of Somers, Steven Kradas and his wife Sandra of Charlotte, NC; a brother, Michael Kradas and his wife Melissa of Scituate, MA; a sister, Beverly Raffino of VA; six grandchildren, Tyler, Gabriel, Megan, Cassie, Nikki and Parker.

His family will receive friends Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 9-11 AM followed by services at 11:00 AM all at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor with military honors to conclude services. Burial will be at in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
