Enfield Obituary: Cathleen Higgins, 39

Cathleen Ann Higgins, of Enfield, passed from her earthly journey at the age of 39, peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, with her loving family and friends Jill and Krystal at her side.

Cathleen was born on January 12, 1979 in Springfield, MA, daughter of William Higgins and his wife Jane of Enfield, and was predeceased by her mother Ellen (Reilly) Higgins in 1998. She grew up in Enfield, was a graduate of Enfield High School, a lifelong resident, and was employed by Sunny House Restaurant, East Windsor and with Walgreens for many years. She enjoyed photography, genealogy, had a great sense of humor and spending time with family and friends.

Cathleen is also survived by her siblings, William Higgins, Jr. and wife Kathleen, Mary King, and Thomas Higgins and wife Julie, and brother-in-law Peter King, all of Enfield; five nephews, Reilly Higgins, Nolan King, Tyler Higgins, Declan Higgins and Gavin Higgins, and a niece, Delany Higgins; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins; her special friends who cared for her, Jill Wolodko and Krystal Gamelli; her companion of 12 years Angelo Pacheco, and supported by many close friends.

Cathleen’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, November 26 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield. Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of her family.
