Enfield Obituary: Susan Walker, 72

Susan G. Walker, 72, of Suffield, beloved wife of Ralph E. Walker passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Hartford Hospital.

Born October 4, 1944 in Hartford daughter of the late Harry and Marilyn (Coons) Greaves. Susan lived in Enfield for many years before moving to Suffield 12 years ago. She was an active and faithful member for more than 40 years of Bethany Assembly of God, Agawam, MA.

Susan enjoyed cooking, hosting, going to the beach, going to museums, writing, she had written plays, poetry, and had authored a cook book. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren.

Besides her husband Ralph, she is survived by three children, Matthew Walker and his wife, Jocelyn of Windsor, Courtney Legein and her husband, Mark of Greenwich; Alison Gill and her husband, Jonathon of Enfield; seven grandchildren, Olivia, Gabriel, Isabella, and Brianna Legein, Jenna, Julie, and Alayna Gill.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017, 11:00 AM, at Bethany Assembly of God, 580 Main St., Agawam. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.
