Enfield Police Charge Florida Man With Sexual Assault of Child

The man is accused of illegal sexual contact with a teen or pre-teen girl, according to police.

ENFIELD, CT - A Florida resident faces a slew of sexual assault and related charges after being arrested on a warrant Thursday afternoon.

Sage Lanza, 20, is charged with first-degree sexual assault on a victim under 13, two counts of risk of injury to a child, illegal sexual contact with a victim under 13, fourth-degree sexual assault on a victim under 13, illegal sexual contact with a victim under 16, fourth-degree sexual assault on a victim between 13 and 15, and second-degree sexual assault on a victim between 13 and 15.

He was held overnight in lieu of $45,000 bond, and was scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Enfield Superior Court.

Deputy Police Chief Gary Collins said the affidavit supporting Lanza's arrest is sealed, and no further information could be immediately released.
