Enfield Police Department Scores High in Re-Accreditation Process
The department received accreditation from a leading national agency for the seventh consecutive time.

ENFIELD, CT — For the seventh straight time period, the Enfield Police Department has achieved re-accreditation from one of the leading credentialing authorities in the country.
The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) awarded the Enfield department a score of 96 of a possible 100, earning re-accreditation for another three-year term.
Police Chief Carl Sferrazza, Lt. Steve Kaselouskas, Sgt. Nicole Martel-Moylan and Officer Tom Pyrcz accepted the re-accreditation certificate this weekend at the national CALEA conference in Charleston, S.C.

Nationwide, only four percent of law enforcement agencies have achieved national accreditation. Of 104 departments in Connecticut, only 15 have earned that designation.
