Enfield Police Open Public Comment Portal For Accreditation Process
Residents can submit comments, commendations and other feedback as the department goes through its latest CALEA accreditation review.
ENFIELD, CT — Enfield police are asking residents to weigh in as the department goes through its latest CALEA accreditation review, opening a public comment portal for feedback on how well officers are serving the community.
The Enfield Police Department said the comments will be used to help review its compliance with national accreditation standards, its community engagement and its overall quality of service.
Residents can leave comments, commendations and other feedback through the CALEA Accreditation Public Comment Portal. The department said people can choose to stay anonymous or include their names.

Enfield police said the agency has held national accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, or CALEA, since Aug. 3, 1996.
Residents can access the public comment portal through the link shared by the department or through the Enfield Police Department section of the town website.
