ENFIELD, CT — National Night Out, an annual event coordinated by police departments in which first responders partner with businesses and community organizations to provide a family-oriented evening out, is slated to return Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 6-8 p.m. at the Enfield town hall and green.

Members of the Enfield Police Department will be on hand for canine and drone demonstrations, and families will get to examine some cruisers and equipment. Volunteers will host stations consisting of arts and crafts, games, handouts and entertainment. About 17 community groups have committed to attend, Police Chief Alaric Fox said.
