Enfield Police Promotions: New Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant Selected

The three will be sworn into their new roles at a ceremony on Jan. 3.

ENFIELD, CT — The calendar is about to turn to a new year, and with it will be some new leadership positions for three members of the Enfield Police Department who have earned promotions.

Lt. Bryan Nolan will be promoted to captain, Sgt. Nicholas King will move up to lieutenant, and officer Timothy St. Onge will join the supervisory ranks as sergeant. The three will be sworn into their new roles at a ceremony on Jan. 3.

Nolan joined the department in Dec. 2004, made sergeant in 2013 and lieutenant in May 2019. King began working in Enfield in Nov. 2008, and was promoted to sergeant in Dec. 2018. St. Onge has been a patrol officer since June 2014.

"All three candidates represent the best of this town and the Enfield Police Department," Police Chief Alaric Fox told Patch. "Our community and I are very fortunate to enjoy their service. We look forward to their future leadership within the agency."

The Jan. 3 promotion ceremony is slated to begin at 1 p.m. in the Council Chambers at town hall. Members of the public are invited to attend.
