Enfield, PSA/Aerospace Set to Open Softball Tournaments

ENFIELD, CT — Looking for its first-ever state championship, the Enfield High School softball team begins its quest for a Class LL title on familiar turf Tuesday.

The 11th-seeded Eagles will open the tournament by hosting No. 22 Staples, as pairings were announced Friday morning.

The Enfield-based co-op of PSA Civic Leadership and the Aerospace Academy of Engineering has qualified for Class S competition, seeded No. 27, and will travel to No. 6 Coginchaug Tuesday.

Top seeds in the four divisions are Southington (LL), Masuk (L), Northwestern Regional (M) and Stafford (S).
