From martial arts clinics to a field hockey clinic, there's plenty of activities for fall.

SEPTEMBER RECREATION PROGRAMMING
Fall back into Recreation this September with a variety of in-person, Take It, Make It and online programs and activities based on your comfort level. MARTIAL ARTS CLINICS
Enfield Recreation, in conjunction with Integrity Martial Arts of Enfield, is offering FREE, two day clinics! Participants will be introduced to the basics of martial arts and character development topics. Integrity Martial Arts will be offering 3 additional sessions free at their studio for those who attend. Classes will be held Monday, October 5, 2020 and Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Green Manor Park (rain location: Integrity Martial Arts Studio). Ages 3-5 will be held from 4:00 – 4:30 PM and ages 6-10 will be held from 4:30 – 5:00 PM. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented. Resident registration begins Tuesday, September 15 at 8:00 AM and non-resident registration begins Tuesday, September 22 at 8:00 AM. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.

FIELD HOCKEY CLINIC
Interested in learning more about field hockey? Youth in grades 3-5 can join Enfield Recreation at the Enfield Annex to participate in our fall field hockey clinic. Participants will be introduced to and taught the fundamentals of field hockey. Participants are required to bring shin guards, a mouth guard, a field hockey stick and a water bottle. This program will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 6-29, 2020 from 5:00 – 6:15 PM. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented. Fee is $39.00 residents / $48.75 non-residents. Resident registration begins Tuesday, September 15 at 8:00 AM and non-resident registration begins Tuesday, September 22 at 8:00 AM. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
BABYSITTER SAFETY COURSE
Youth ages 11-16 years old can take part in this upcoming Babysitter Safety Course. This entry level course is intended to teach age appropriate skills necessary to care for children of all ages. This course focuses on safety with an emphasis on prevention. Topics including diapering, personal safety, first aid and adult and child CPR will be covered. This course will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 (Election Day – no school) from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Angelo Lamagna Activity Center. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented. The fee is $75.00 residents / $85.00 non-residents. Resident registration begins Tuesday, September 15 at 8:00 AM and non-resident registration begins Tuesday, September 22 at 8:00 AM. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
WOMEN’S SELF-DEFENSE CLASS
Self-defense is a real and necessary skill. Those 18 years and older can join Jonathan Metcalf at Integrity Martial Arts for this 2-part course to learn simple strategies to minimize risk, tactics to get you to safety quickly and more! This FREE course is great for students who are or will be attending college. Please note that mature topics will be covered. Class will be held Mondays, October 19 & 26, 2020 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Integrity Martial Arts Studio. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented. Resident registration begins Tuesday, September 15 at 8:00 AM and non-resident registration begins Tuesday, September 22 at 8:00 AM. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
ADULT YOGA
Adults 18 years and older can release stress and live a healthier lifestyle this fall! Yoga will bring balance, breath awareness, stamina and flexibility to the body and mind. Participants will be able to work at their own level, modifying poses as needed. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and water bottle to class. Classes will be held Tuesdays, October 6 – 27, 2020 from 6:15 – 7:30 PM at the Enfield Annex Gym. Fee is $18.00 residents / $22.50 non-residents. Resident registration begins Tuesday, September 15 at 8:00 AM and non-resident registration begins Tuesday, September 22 at 8:00 AM. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
