Open swim at the Angelo Lamagna Activity Center pool is now open to Enfield residents. The pool hours are Sunday – Saturday in 2-hour sessions: 12:00-2:00 PM, 2:30-4:30 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM. Session fee is $1.00 for adults (18 & over) and $0.50 for children. Due to limited attendance, pool patrons must register online in advance to reserve their spot. No more than 2 children per adult is allowed. Please visit www.enfield-ct.gov/recreation for complete information on pool policies.
MARTIAL ARTS CLINIC

Enfield Recreation, in conjunction with Integrity Martial Arts of Enfield, is offering a FREE, one day clinic! Participants will explore the world of martial arts in classes that are especially designed for youth ages 3-5 years old. Participants will be introduced to the basics of martial arts, as well as character development topics. Integrity Martial Arts will be offering 3 additional sessions free at their studio for those who attend. Class will be held Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 5:00 – 5:30 PM at the Integrity Martial Arts Studio. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented. Resident registration will begin Friday, July 17 at 8:00 AM and non-resident registration will begin Friday, July 24 at 8:00 AM. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
SKYHAWKS TINY HAWKS SUMMER CAMP
The essentials of soccer and basketball are introduced in a fun, safe and encouraging environment. Children ages 3-4 years old will learn balance, body movement and hand-eye coordination and will develop sport-specific skills through a series of games and drills tailored to their attention spans. The camp will be held August 3-7 from 9:00 – 9:45 AM at the Angelo Lamagna Activity Center gym. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented. The fee is $65.00 residents / $75.00 non-residents. All registrations will be taken through the Skyhawks website at www.skyhawks.com. Registration is ongoing and open to both residents and non-residents. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
SKYHAWKS MINI HAWKS SUMMER CAMP
This multi-sport program teaches youth ages 5-7 years old the essentials of baseball, soccer and basketball in a safe, structured environment. Participants will explore balance, body movement, hand-eye coordination and skill development at their own pace. The camp will be held August 3-7 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Angelo Lamagna Activity Center gym. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented. The fee is $115.00 residents / $125.00 non-residents. All registrations will be taken through the Skyhawks website at www.skyhawks.com. Registration is ongoing and open to both residents and non-residents. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
SUMMER FIELD HOCKEY CAMP
Interested in learning more about field hockey? Join Enfield Recreation at the Enfield Annex to participate in our summer field hockey camp. Participants will be introduced to and taught the fundamentals of field hockey. Participants are required to bring shin guards, a mouth guard and a field hockey stick. This program will be split into two groups: entering grades 3-5 and entering grades 6-8. This week-long summer camp will be held August 3-7, 2020 from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented. Fee is $49.00 residents / $61.25 non-residents. Resident registration will begin Friday, July 17 at 8:00 AM and non-resident registration will begin Friday, July 24 at 8:00 AM. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
SKYHAWKS VOLLEYBALL SUMMER CAMP
Youth ages 10-14 years old can take part in this exciting summer volleyball camp! Participants will learn all aspects of the sport, such as passing, setting, hitting and serving through drills and exercises. This program is designed for the beginning and intermediate player. The camp will be held August 10-14 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Enfield Annex gym. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented. The fee is $129.00 residents / $139.00 non-residents. All registrations will be taken through the Skyhawks website at www.skyhawks.com. Registration is ongoing and open to both residents and non-residents. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
BABYSITTER SAFETY COURSE
NEW FORMAT! Combining topics from both Babysitter Safety 101 and 102 courses, the new Babysitter Safety course is available for youth ages 11-16 years old. This entry level course is intended to teach age appropriate skills necessary to care for children of all ages. This course focuses on safety with an emphasis on prevention. Topics including diapering, personal safety, first aid and adult and child CPR will be covered. This course will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Angelo Lamagna Activity Center. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented .The fee is $75.00 residents / $85.00 non-residents. Resident registration will begin Friday, July 17 at 8:00 AM and non-resident registration will begin Friday, July 24 at 8:00 AM. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
ADULT SELF-DEFENSE CLASS
Self-defense is a real and necessary skill. Those 16 years and older can join Jonathan Metcalf at Integrity Martial Arts to learn simple strategies to minimize risk, tactics to get you to safety quickly and more! This FREE course is great for students who will be attending college in the fall. Please note that parent consent is required for those 16 and 17 years of age as mature topics will be covered. Class will be held Monday, August 10, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Integrity Martial Arts Studio. Please note that additional COVID-19 related policies have been implemented. Resident registration will begin Friday, July 17 at 8:00 AM and non-resident registration will begin Friday, July 24 at 8:00 AM. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
