Enfield Recreation Unveils Summer 2026 Programs
Resident registration opens Friday morning, with camps, clinics and seasonal jobs included in the summer lineup.
ENFIELD, CT — A new round of summer camps, clinics, seasonal jobs and specialty programs is about to open up in Enfield, with resident registration starting Friday morning.
The Enfield Recreation Department said its Summer 2026 program information is now available online, featuring a wide range of offerings that include camps, special events and classes for all ages. Resident registration begins Friday, March 27, at 8:30 a.m., while non-resident registration opens Friday, April 10, at 8:30 a.m.
Among the featured programs is an American Red Cross lifeguarding class for those who will be at least 16 years old by June 1. The blended course will run from May 14 through May 17 and includes lifeguarding, first aid and CPR certification. Enfield Recreation said those interested in working as town lifeguards can become certified for $65, with pre-employment screening due by April 10 at 4 p.m.

The department is also hiring for summer seasonal positions, including camp staff, lifeguards and swim coaches.
Other upcoming offerings include spring field hockey clinics for students in grades 3 through 8, a Babysitter Safety Course for ages 11 to 16, and a free “FISH with CARE” event on June 6 at Freshwater Pond in partnership with the state DEEP CARE program and Enfield Community Police.

The summer schedule also features several youth camps, including a crime scene investigation-themed Minds in Motion camp in June, Skyhawks volleyball and track and field camps in July, a Crayola Imagine Art Academy camp, a Food Explorers cooking camp, and a Mad Science engineering camp in August.
Town officials said spaces are limited and encouraged families to register early. More information is available through the Enfield Recreation Department.
