Enfield Safe Harbor For The Homeless Needs Volunteers for 2022/2023
Support others going through hard times. Enfield Safe Harbor is looking for overnight volunteers and for our Outreach and Engagement Center

Enfield Safe Harbor Warming Center will be open overnights starting January, 2023 (subject to change) and our Outreach and Engagement Center will operate evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm (days and dates to be determined)
The location will be St. Patrick’s Church Hall, 64 Pearl St. Enfield,CT
We are still looking for volunteers to help us as we serve the homeless.
Some of the duties will include
Outreach and Engagement needed help
Set-up and Break-down
Assist guest with selecting needed items (guest are not to handle items)
Assist with supplies/donations as needed (sorting, storage and documenting)
Assist with maintaining COVID-19 protocols (pass out mask as needed, make sure guest use hand sanitizer)
Assist with frequent cleaning/wiping tables as needed
Overnight Warming Center needed help
Set-up
Assist staff during check-in
Serve guest snacks and beverages (guest are not allowed to help themselves)
Assist with maintaining COVID-19 protocols (social distancing, pass out mask as needed, make sure guest use hand sanitizer)
Assist guests to prepare for lights out
Assist with cleaning/wiping and sanitizing
***Overnights are optional and must be approved by the Executive Director
