Enfield School Board Candidates to Debate

Fermi Youth Vote students have organized a Board of Education debate for Oct. 26.

Candidates for the Enfield Board of Education will engage in a debate on Monday, Oct. 26 in the auditorium at Fermi High School at 7 p.m.

The debate is being organized and moderated by the Fermi High School Youth Vote Committee. Questions from the audience will follow.

Five Republican and five Democratic candidates will be vying for nine seats on the board.

Republican incumbents Tom Sirard, Ray Peabody and Lori Unghire are being joined on the ballot by Walter Kruzel and former Town Councilor Michael Ludwick.

Newcomer Elizabeth Windsor-Post is running alongside Democratic incumbents Vinny Grady, Tina LeBlanc, Stacy Thurston and Tim Neville.
