Enfield Seeking Residents For Charter Review Committee

The Charter Review Committee will examine governance rules and propose changes for Enfield's future.

ENFIELD, CT — The Enfield Town Council is seeking residents interested in serving on the town’s Charter Review Committee, a body charged with reviewing the Town Charter and recommending potential updates.

The committee plays a key role in examining how the town is governed and ensuring the charter reflects current community needs and priorities. Residents with an interest in civic engagement and local government are encouraged to apply.

Applications are now open and must be submitted by January 14, 2026.

Residents can apply online through the town’s website by selecting “2026 Charter Revision Commission” on the application for vacancies form.
